Workshops, Presentations, Conferences, Retreats

Inspire and launch new ministries in your congregation with a visit from the King's Closet. Our interactive approach immerses participants in a life-changing experience. You may be seeking to introduce worship arts to your congregation or desiring to take existing teams to the next level. King's Closet facilitators are passionate worshipers who will work with you to design a program that meets your needs. We'll provide teaching, hands-on activities, discussions, times of worship, and time for testimonies. Our programs are convenient and affordable because we come to you.

1-1.5 Hour Workshops:

The workshops described below are just as sampling of what The King's Closet has to offer. See the Events page for a list of past and upcoming workshops.

Launching New Ministries

Receive the essentials for starting a specific ministry or outreach in your congregation. For example, learn the basics for beginning a liturgical dance team, for developing a nursing-home outreach, or for enhancing children's church worship. Participants engage in hands-activities that model the featured ministry.

Releasing Visual Worship

Play with glory rings, streamers, flags, billows, ribbons, and banners in a worship setting. Participants have opportunities to experiment with each instrument of worship.

Unfurling Flags for His Glory

Discover the significance flag colors and movements have for your group, learn techniques for using flags in worship, as well as spontaneous and choreographed worship approaches. Participants have opportunities to practice using flags with worship music.

Unleashing Billows of God's Grace

Explore the effect of different billow colors and learn billowing techniques and movements in pairs and small groups. Participants develop a billow routine for a hymn or worship song.

Wearing the Word

Develop familiarity with using named garments (based on Biblical concepts) and scripture references to enhance scripture memory work in your congregation. Participants explore ways of hiding the Word of God in your heart...and encouraging one another in developing this vital Christian discipline.

Putting Psalms to Action

Put movement, dance, and garments of praise to work helping group members discover deeper meanings and significance in the Word of God, especially the Psalms. Consider implications for other Bible study topics. Participants experiment with movements that reflect the meaning of a text and discuss their resulting revelations.

Returning to Childlike Worship

Recapture the fun, freedom, and unselfconscious movements of the little child that Jesus points to as a standard for entering into His kingdom and presence. Participants put on garments of praise and join hands and hearts in worship movements designed to free bodies and spirits in uninhibited praise and joy.

1-2 hour Presentations

Plan to make the King's Closet experience part of your special event. As keynote presenters, we tailor our message to fit your theme and timeframe through teaching, sharing, and involving participants in engaging activities. Previous events have included Mother-Daughter banquets, Pampering and Praise thank-you luncheons, and Daughters of the King sessions. Programs for youth lock-ins, Vacation Bible School, as well as other events for young people are also available.

Conferences

Choose one or more of our workshops to feature during your half-day, full-day, or multiple-day conference. Or, let us design workshops to suit your conference theme. If you choose The King's Closet as a featured presenter for your conference, we will tailor workshops for your event as well as create worship opportunities.

  • Half-Day Event: 1 or 2 workshops
    (larger groups, more options)
  • Full-Day Event: 2 or 3 workshops
  • Multiple-Day Event: 4 or 5 workshops
  • Featured Presenters: The number of workshops offered would be based on the length of the conference. A closing worship event is included.

Retreats

Benefit from special time away with your church family. The King's Closet comes to your venue and provides workshops or facilitates your entire retreat. Occasionally the King's Closet hosts retreats. See our schedule on the Events page.
